I've always thought that one was one of the weakest tracks on here.

That's an instant top three. The best is either that, Newest Industry or Chartered Trips.

I absolutely adore this band and have a close connection to Minneapolis where they hail from. I find alot of this album unlistenable. That said, the good songs: Something I Learned Today, Chartered Trips, Never Talking to You Again, Pink Turns to Blue, Whatever, and Turn on the News, are outstanding.

This wouldnt be a good one for me to have on vinyl. All of the songs I like are at the beginning or towards the end. I'm much more a fan of the power pop era Husker Du than the Hardcore Punk era. New Day Rising is the perfect Husker Du album. I also adore Flip Your Wig.

The last one is very polished. It has abou 6-7 good songs. They shouldn't have made it a double LP.

"What Nirvana did was nothing new, Hüsker Dü did it before us."

I don't like Nirvana that much but this is just Krist being humble. Nirvana pulled from a lot of different bands and were not merely a husker clone. Husker Du were insanely influential though.

It's insane how much Foo Fighters sound like Sugar and Bob Mould's solo albums.
