yes, i agree with that very much. they've never had a more successful use of harsh vocals on an album since, imo.

Really? Because even on the singles of Robot Pt. 4, the title track and Jesus that the band themselves released, Tilian was mixed awfully.

I honestly think it's just a youtube compressionissue. It blends really nicely on the physical. the only thing I'm not sure of is there is this thing Malpass did that made the compression link in with the reverb, but its a really light and wide reverb on Tilian. It's weird because it kicks on and off and it's clearly linking in with the compression. aside from that it's sweet.
