hahahaha nice. that was a fucking good final though. I mean, it had everything (including one of the most respected players of all time getting sent off, in his last game and arguably the most important of his career, in extra time for the funniest thing I have ever seen in a football game)

it's probably bias but I can't help but feel that the italian who got zidane sent off was asking for it, and if he hadn't been sent off france would have had a much better chance of winning

I definitely agree with that. The defender (forget his name atm) was fucking asking for it, spitting racial slurs and whatnot. Definitely Italy's MVP in that game for all the wrong reasons. I'm pretty sure France would have won with Zidane not getting sent off. But then Buffon still would have locked shit down in the PKs so I dunno. Tough loss for France for sure though.
