It's been creeping it's way up my rating scale since I first heard it. It was once a 2.5!

Yes my rating brought it down from a 4.1 to a 4. FUCKING AWESOME CAUSE THIS DOES NOT DESERVE A FUCKING 4.1.

Been growing on me a lot too, weird. At first I thought this was just average deathcore with some fucking amazing noodlings (the middle of Flourish is so good) but it's actually a really good album. huh

I can see why people like it. All the people who do like it mostly only like it because of the softer parts. I garuntee if you asked those people they would want all the death metal/core parts out and it would be basically a post rock album.

What is that assumption based off of? Most people like the album because it upholds an intriguing

integration of genres, in an intelligent manner. They are coherently juxtaposing, making a singular

sound derived from multiple styles, all tied together under a Deathcore banner. Sure, the softer

moments are good, but the like for this album is not solely due to some absurd love for Post-Metal;

the soft moments rather add a change of atmosphere that gives room to breathe, and seemingly adds a

new dimension to their soundscape. It adds a beautiful contrast to the more Progressive Deathcore

tendencies.

I'd understand better if people wanted the core parts out, but the death parts? It makes no sense :D

btw - it's a sweet album

this dun made no senses, man

I love this album, and find the breakdowns and whatnot really intriguing tbh. They add an intensity I don't often hear from other bands in the genre

I don't like the Phillies or the Cards but I do like both the Dbacks and the Brewers. Tough luck there.

All three game fives were fantastic.

i saw them yesterday and had a pretty long convo with their singer. he said they've started a little bit on their new album.......not many breakdowns and hardly any "deathcore".....he basically said a more straightfoward but super-heavy progressive metal album with more epic post rock shit. sweet
