dude i think hes an intelligent dude and a lot of things he says are interesting and hes well spoken etc. hes also an insane battle rapper.
i just dont like his style. it sounds like he uses too much to say too little. and i dunno. i dont really connect with him when he raps at all. i actually found that stream of consciousness he did on here more cathartic and illuminating. i mean on his raps he has some good stuff but it just feels to me like he doesn't really need to rap to say it.
meh. yeah i really dont like this song...

fair enough, I get what you're saying; I think part of it has to do with where I was in life when I first heard Mac, and then again when I heard this record. some of his songs have just hit me (like Take Me In My Sleep, Ashes To Ashley, Halo, etc.) because I happened to be going through some shit similar to what he was talking about.
Plus I think he's clever and witty as shit sometimes -- no idea how you guys can't at least respect the lyricism in songs like Sketchbook, Parliament Menthol Lights, Smart Dumb Person, Earth By Earth etc.
s'all good though, seems like Mac's always been a love him or hate him rapper
