production is the typical black metal style doesn't mean that it's off limits to criticize.

I know, I know. I'm not saying I like it too much either (but It's grown on me a lot recently) but it's just in the tradition of genre for the most part and i've had some people go nuts because I did the same thing

Gotta say though, it has grown on me a bit too considering I have their debut 4.5d now, but I wonder how I'd feel about this

I struggle with this, I must say, especially with how monotonous it sounded. Bergtatt, on the other hand, was much more melodic, which is more my kind of thing.
Give Darkspace a shot, mong. The overall sound is equally as raw as this, but a bit easier to appreciate IMO.

Gotcha. Eventually I give more harsher BM a try. I'm still easing my way into it. And Bergtatt is just straight up beautiful at times I love it.
