I knew about them for a while and listened to a couple of tunes now and again, but I only started getting into them hardcore around about 2002 or so.

This album wore off a bit on me whereas their older stuff remains classic and even gets better over time. Still a great comeback.

Not too many classics, but the album is solid as hell. Not a weak song on it, except maybe the opener. Everything here ranges from good to superb.

Agreed, the opener is the weakest track on here. Great album as a whole, like it way better than The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here.

I feel close to saying that this destroys King Animal.
And I like SG more than AiC.

I agree, but KA fucks Dinosaurs and then shits all over it.

Listening to this and then Devil in succession is slightly upsetting.

I still need to jam this a couple more times, don't feel 100% sure about my rating.

this is pretty equal to King Animal for me: some good tracks, overall solid albums, but not as good as their older works. Just good comeback albums, nothing more nothing less

Can't sit through more than four songs on King Animal without getting bored, to be honest.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^ KA was a good comeback for SG and a decent album in its own right, but honestly this blows it out of the water

STP hasn't made a good album since Purple

Honestly both KA and TDPDH were disappointing. This, on the other hand, is ANYTHING but.
