That is certainly true, DT might just be one of the most consistent "Gothenburg" bands. I just prefer the songwriting and the more riff-oriented approach on this album.

disagree about their earlier stuff or at least this album because the later stuff just flows much better, has much more texture and is overall more interesting. This album just feels awkward as if it's straining itself about half the time because it hasn't got the necessary gumph that the later ones had to pull it off.

The first album has some incredibly complex and interesting composition going on, a lot like AtG's first album. We Are The Void doesn't even come close to Skydancer in any way honestly.
