Why the fuck are people calling it BWP (Black Water Park) when it says Blackwater Park

It's a mystery.

Because its a compound word mothafucka.
I usually abbreviate it as BwP (lowercasing the w to imply it not being a singe word), BP just doesn't seem correect because of the two common words in the first word.
...lol

it all prob started as BwP then people got caps happy

You guys are all lulz! Especially this from the good man Crimson:
the_wizard bums Opeth. True story
Crimson is just gay. True Story hahaha!
Now, to add to the discussion of this album, the intro and outro to Dirge for November contain two of the most beautiful acoustic guitar passages I've ever heard.

I don't think it's a case of not liking them as such, just that some people go in to listening to them with exceptionally high expectations (rightfully so) and then are let down by them, me among them.
Still though, I enjoy this album, but if nobody had told me I would never have guessed this was one of the most acclaimed metal releases ever, Bleak is the only song that I truly love from this.

Also I think people that aren't very seasoned in metal (me) are more likely to blow their load over Opeth than veterans of the genre...chances are the metal n00bs haven't heard a metal band that sports fantastic harsh and clean vocals with almost always seamless (at least on this album) transitions from the heavy to the soothing. This Message Edited On 03.15.08

^^^I was the opposite actually.
I hated Opeth the first half dozen times I heard their stuff. Once I became a little more seasoned and my metal ear more finely tuned, I started to really appreciate the plethora of sound elements Opeth uses, and how they all work so well, both individually, and in conjunction with each other. That being said, I still don't see what the big deal with this album is, I prefer Still Life, MAYH, and even Ghost Reveries to this.

Those are all great albums too by Opeth AngelPhoenix! And I felt the same way the first time I listened to Opeth at first.
This album still blows my mind!
