Loaded with classics and still haven't found anything comparable to this style. That's what makes this a 5 for me. I do agree that the track list could maybe use some trimming, but I don't think there is anything bad on here.

3030 isn't the only legitimately great track, that's the wrong way to approach this. It's better to look at it like the perfect kick-off point. The album basically doesn't come down once it gets blasted into space by 3030.

There are so many tracks I love from this - 'Positive Contact', 'Virus', 'Battlesong', 'Love Story'...

Also I still can't believe this was my first hip hop album. I certainly started on a high. Taste kind of went downhill for a while there, but I came back. I was always coming back.

Good throwback to why Dan the Automator was the best producer existing in the 90s. Like DAMN. Every beat on here is sooooooo crisp. Del is at his peak, too, and the scratching is also top-tier. Couldn't really name a weakpoint of this album, tbh.

Yeah the crazy thing on this album is how not only are almost all the tracks standout, but how immersive the atmosphere is.

I usually hate overlong hip hop projects but I'd say this one earns it. Always races through for me.

The interludes do a good job setting the scene. I give it 3 thumbs up.

it's not even THAT long either, just 61 minutes. could have filled an entire CD like many hip hop albums do

True!

I missed the fake ads/news segments for Event 2, although the comedy interludes were OK.
