i actually like it. it's almost like just a fun intermission. it works imo.

I'd probably like it if it was anywhere else on the album, it's just right after the climax that makes me climax and i feel it ruins the mood mucho mucho.

This band (and Edge of Sanity) and this album is basically the only Post-Hardcore bands i will listen to. Everyone else in this genre just... sucks. This Message Edited On 05.18.08

who does the vocals after the polka break in prequel to the sequel? the guy that sings and then goes into a high pitched scream... that gives me chills every timeThis Message Edited On 05.20.08

I will have to check out that part of Prequel to the Sequel now, I never noticed that. I like FBTMOF a lot too.

the decade of statues is the best song for those who are turned off by the major genre transitions in the longer tracks.

this album is ok.. but its definitly not better than the previous two... the only song that i can really listen to and say i like is the decade of statues, other than that it is way to repitious just ten minutes of circus sounding guitar leads some of it is entertaining other parts of it are just monotonous but thats just my opinion

I couldn't really get into Alaska when i originally tried...selkies is the good but the rest is kinda a blur...i'll look into it.

it's definitely not as diverse as Colors. Colors blends more genres, i just like the individual songs better off Alaska

Yeah, The Always Open Mouth is ridiculously good.

I re-listened to this last night and it is indeed a very good album but its just quite overwhelming at points.
