the first and last third of it are pretty much completely perfect and is pretty much where they reached their peak song writing wise and then the mid section is still like a 4/5

it's just like a summation of every style and influence they've had in their career put into one except a lot more mature with even better song writing and it's just like wowwow

scrambles was the perfect mix of the quirky fast punk stuff and the alt/indie thing they started with that record



vacation is too much of the latter not enough of the former and thusly gets a bit bland at points
