Baby I love you today

I guess that's what you want

And I don't know where we are all going

Life don't get stranger than this

It is what it is

And I don't know where we are all going

It's been too long since I gave this a full listen. Still one of the best albums I've heard since joining Sput.

I fucking love Jason Pierce, something about his style, voice and lyrics is just medicine. he may preach a lot and write in cliche but its so captivating

Indeed space dude. J really gets into the bones, you know that he's been, there, seen it done it and worn the spacesuit.

"not even better than OKC tbh "

In many circles that wouldn't be a negative

However considering I'd only rate OKC like a 4 at most that's pretty sad. Hope I end up disagreeing

When it comes to title tracks I'd go for Crazy on the Weekend.

This is still my fave album of all time though.

but Spaceman! You have still not experienced one of the best albums of 1997! ; )

Perfect From Now On(5) > The Lonesome Crowded West(4.5/4) > Ok Computer(4) > Day Three of My New Life(3.5) > 10 Songs(3.0) > Either/Or (2.0)

OKC is the result of a solid (at the time) band wanting to broaden the boundaries of guitar based rock with an experimental album that explores themes of stepping into the 21st century that still remain relevant and timeless.

This is an experimental rock, gospel record by a bloke climbing out of the abyss and hurling us all into the stars.

Cheesy enough for ya dudes.
