i bought this cd when i was 13 but as i was leaving swim practice i fell on the ground because the floor was mad slippery,i had the cd in my backback and it broke . it was a really sad day and it got even worse when i came back home and found out it had a 4.6 average on sputnikmusic.com. i had not realised this was a classic album from the 70's!

The only thing I don't like about it is that stupid voice on 5 magics. Everything else rules. Polaris is my favourite thrash song of all time.

The stupid voice is only on the remaster.

The lyrics are a reason why MoP is superior.

I had no idea that was just the remastered version. I should really hunt down the original as it's the only thing I don't like about the entire album!

Yeah idk what Dave was thinking with the remaster, he tossed in a ton of goofy voices and just the regular vox are worse. The original is a real 5/5 masterpiece, the vocals on the remaster take it down to a 4.5 or even a 4.

I think Take No Prisoners is completely or almost completely re-recorded and parts of other songs too. Maybe he'll drop a 30th anniversary edition in 2020 with the original vox fully restored. But the album is still a 5, I've even warmed to 'Dawn Patrol' after so many years.

I love both versions of Take No Prisoners, it is the strongest point on the original and the remaster. 6/5 song on a 5/5 album

If you're familiar with the original version the remaster is almost unlistenable. From annoying vocals to heavy compression and that fake old-school sound they tried to capture. Destroys the magic for me.

The remastered vinyls are actually superior to the original pressings unlike the overly-compressed CDs but yeah, the changed vox nearly renders that moot.
