Deftones have such a big hype since like the early pandemic. From what i hear it stems from the youngins over at Tiktok and also the memes and several other uses on Youtube. What really is interesting is that many non metal adjacent people are checking them out now for the first time

Not sure that’s true, they’re massively popular irl and have been for a long time

This one’s been really worming its way into my ear lately - i still don’t find the songwriting that interesting comparatively - but the record sounds amazing and has lots of tasty hooks and riffs and such - gotta bump to 4 when i get home
