mmhm, the metaphors on animals arent the exact same as animal farm but its similar and the inspiration for this album obviously comes from it

although the song dogs was originally called raving and drooling and was written during the writing of wwyh and before the concept of animals came about, it was kind of adapted to it and the animal sounds added in

Always thought this was a critique of the music industry rather than politics for some reason (never went really in depths with the lyrics though)

I thought Dogs were the talents scouts looking for young, impressionable, gullible acts; pigs were the big labels execs cashing in on everyone's work and then sheep were the artists letting themselves get roped into deals they didn't understand and get screwed by the system.
