hawks just randomly started accusing me of shit like this, out of jest I must think, because I got extremely annoyed by him shitting into every neurosis thread he could find about scott kelly being an abuser when every other user just tried to share their latest vibing sessions with their music after we had all dealt with what had happened two years ago. he seemed to only have found out recently and therefore feels like he has to overcompensate for that now.



oh and johnny just flat out hates me which is a pretty mutual sentiment between us so theres no surprise when he starts needling me out of the blue.

I ain't gonna be mad at all if someone decides to stop listening to neurosis for Scott's case. I think it's unfair to the rest of the band and I'm one of those people who separates the art from the artist. That being said I respect if someone just can't. Yes this band rulez but yeah I'm having a hard time getting past this shit tbh. I listen to a lot of pieces of shit but I witnessed first hand my mom almost die at the hands of my dad. He would have killed her if I didn't wake up out of a dead sleep. So its a sore subject for me personally.

Its fucked up man. I still love my dad and he had his own problems going on at that time, not being able to get his meds because of insurance being one of them, but there's still no excuse. Shitty situation all around especially when nothing like that had ever happened before. I know all abusers say that but I know it was the first and only time for an absolute fact. But once is enough.
