ah thats fair i dont have a problem w it at all but given how chinos delivery can obnoxiously derail some songs for me i understand lol. always felt like entombed was a modern update of it which is a big part of why entombed is also one of my favorite deftones songs, but i prefer xerces's atmosphere and melodies a slight bit (and album placement too that shit leads into rats in one of the craziest juxtapositions of soft song/heavy song they got where entombed leads into maybe my least favorite deftones song)

I like "romantic dreams"...the lyrics are maybe jarring relative to other deftones stuff and it strikes me as basically three ideas for a song vying for supremacy over each other but I like all of the parts and his vocal performance doesn't seem egregious to me...
