tbh I agree with the essence of what gyro just said, and I fucking love this album. it is cheesy and self indulgent in places, and the guitar solos, vocals and lyrical content can be ridiculous and bonkers, and I adore all of that. I wouldn't agree that it's just a wankfest, nor make generalisations about the quality of the genre, but yeah, I totally get that this album (and thrash in general) isn't everyones' cup of tea
