I just saw footage of their new concerts and their updated setlist.
I have to say I am incredibly impressed with Maynard's voice in these new shows. He actually sings the high notes on the patient and pushit the way he did 20 years ago. He also even does the scream on the grudge at the end, which is something I don't believe he has done for years.
I was sure his voice was blown out and he was never going to reach those heights. It's clear he still doesn't have the same power anymore but he doesn't struggle when he goes high and that's great considering he has been struggling for years.
