Odd how Radiohead have always wrapped their music around a vibe but on this one the minimal vibe strengthens the music.
This might actually be best Radiohead.

Even though it is undoubtedly similar, shouldn't any money awarded in a lawsuit go to the composers of The Air That I Breathe...?

I hope they win, it's a pretty shameless ripoff.

It's their best outside of the big 3 (OKC, Kid A, IR), and The King of the Limbs: Live from the Basement is slightly better.

I'm starting to think, and I could be wrong but, I'm starting to think .... we jumped to the "it's sooo boring!" bandwagon way too quickly. I remember a few weeks after this came out it was the same group of users that just kept circlejerking the "it's so boring! 3/5" conclusion. I was part of it. But honestly this has grown a bit. It's not amazing sure, but The Numbers and Present Tense are some of their best songs.

People dismissed this one pretty quickly, and on strange grounds ("boring and sad", like they'd never heard Radiohead before, and something about an alphabetical track listing). Never mind that the songs themselves are as beautiful and emotionally resonant as any in their discog.

I quite liked this album when it came out actually, now I hardly listen to it. It's very inaccessible.
