I've always loved the stark contrast between Burn The Witch and Daydreaming, if only because that contrast, and the placement of Daydreaming in the opening section of the record, has always creating the most stunning and defining moment in the record for me. It sets an immersive tone, partly because that tone is unexpected and surprising coming in the second track after a frenzied beginning.

With that said, while TLW will always be the only proper closer of this album for me, Glass Eyes into Daydreaming also sounds like a particularly impactful opening to this set of tracks.

Agreed letsgofishing, normally it'd be kind of a whiplash I think, but here it's a purposeful and comfortable whiplash cuz Daydreaming is so beautiful

as an album, it's not great

but the collection of songs here is pretty top-notch, especially with those 2 bonuses thrown in which are like 2 of my favorite radiohead songs this century

I can't get behind this record no matter how hard I try. Their worst aside from Pablo Honey and maybe the Bends for me.

Ful Stop is indeed one of the best Gyro so that makes sense.

Present Tense is a tad overrated for me, many seem to have pinpointed it as the album's masterpiece, personally it only rates as a 4/5 song or so. Still great of course but not perfect.

Present Tense, Daydreaming, and Ful Stop are my top 3 on here. Decks Dark, True Love Waits, and Glass Eyes are next best.

I like Daydreaming and True Love Waits and enjoy the rest but not enough for another highlight. Solid 4/5 a year after release.

"Burn The Witch" is the group's best opener to date, and the strongest offering on this record.
