there is only one great song
you could make an argument for a couple others being good im sure
but Amarillo is the only song that I think can hold up in a like 'Top 30 Gorillaz songs' list or something like that.

honestly if Albarn just released The Fall as like, a solo album 2D made on tour or something people probably wouldnt hate it as much
it was just a terrible idea to try and shove something as unsubstantial as that into the bands actual catalogue

it was easy to overlook the fact that the album had anything good at all just because of the outrage but yeah i really like Amarillo and off the top of my head Revolving Doors and Little Pink Plastic Bags are both nice songs too

i'm thrilled to hear the new record esp. if it's a bit less homogeneous than this
humble is still like 1.5/5 tho, the lyrics are pretty decent actually but the beat is just ham-fisted
