All the sax bits that transition into the choruses in Us and Them are so good

Anybody know of a band who just copies Floyd's style? I'm on a nostalgia rock craze and want something like Greta Van Fleet except for Floyd.

Some Krautrock bands come close

Ash Ra Tempel is a bit too old for what I'm looking for, but Black Mountain looks promising. Will definitely check them out! Thanks

Also a lot of anathema after the first two albums. But they suck

I like nostalgia rock. It's fun for me.

Check out Eloy for 70s era Floydianesque space rock/prog. I don't love the singer, but instrumentally it's cool stuff. For more modern era Floyd-a-likes, Airbag is as close as it gets.

Check out Porcupine Tree's psych era. The Sky Moves Sideways basically mirrors Wish You Were Here structurally. Yeah, it's from the 90s so it's not that current now, but I think you'd enjoy it regardless
