holy fuckin shit...If the new Esoteric hits you, then you'll be in for 1.h40 minutes of full pleasure...a damn marathon! For me the DM affair is essential on this type of doom, and they nail it every time on the album m/ vocals (and everything else tbh) are perfect for me.

5s?! There's this cool album the kids are talking about! It's called Spiderland! There are all kinds of weird rhythms and the atmosphere is creepy and engaging and the dynamics are out of this world - in fact, I'd say it's all about rhythm and dynamics! The band have barely made anything since but they're still touring it, wonder if Tool were taking notes LOL

As of today I've decided that I hate Teen Dream even more than this, so that might higher dibs on the vendetta backlog (which is basically those two + And Justice For All). Fortunately, there is far less to be said for that album positive or negative so it will just be a blip

Stylistic rehash, awful guitar tones (and primitive melodic vocabulary), bloat, snooze
is as concise and cursive as I can get it - the rest of the hatchet can stay buried for now. The guitar is the part that makes this a 2 though - otherwise would have probably been a 2.5 with kudos to the rhythm section
