He should definitely be doing it by himself from now on then. What a man [2]

"Only just realised that Akerfeldt was the sole producer for this...he should go into the production game for other bands cos this is one of the best 'sounding' albums ever."

He may have produced (arranged*) it but I highly doubt he has mixed/mastered this all by himself.

steven wilson did the mixing on this and PC

e; pretty easily the best sounding things I've heard with his involvement, too

The CD booklet says:

''Produced by Mikael Åkerfeldt

Mixed at No Man's Land Studios by Steven Wilson and Mikael Åkerfeldt

Mastered at Abbey Road Studios by Peter Mew with Mikael Åkerfeldt present (drinking coffee)''

Note how it says Wilson and Mew before Åkerfeldt. He needed the help of those two, so he clearly didn't self-produce this album.

Haha, still is one of their best albums Pleb!

Plus that coffee part was good.

I'd say Nepenthe, Häxprocess, I Feel The Dark, Famine, Eternal Rains Will Come, River, The Wilde Flowers, A Fleeting Glance (maybe Moon Above, Faith in Others, Voice Of Treason and Strange Brew)

Basically everything from Heritage, aka best album ever.
