Knocks Gore out of the park and I really do love it that record. But OHMS is pretty much everything I was hope. Better than DE and KOI? Mmm, not quite, at least not yet. Absolutely as good as AtF, SNW, and S/T.

Been meaning to bump down Koi No Yokan. It's bottom for me only above Adrenaline and Gore.

gonna be interesting seeing the reception of ohms bc its already looking like it appeals more to the snw/self titled fans than the diamond eyes/koi fans

'Urantia' alone is better than the entirety of KNY.

I doubt any song on Ohms is as good as Entombed tbh

Yeah it definitely does contain a bit of that old-school Deftones vibes. It also mixes in elements from their past few albums too though which is great.

I think the best thing about Ohms is its consistency, there's not a single dud on the record, whereas every other record has at least one imo
thats a huge thing for a 9th LP

Yeah i was basically saying that earlier. Like I think Urantia is very boring but it's not a bad song. Aside from that every song is good or better, which is rare. I mean the whole mid-section of this album is a complete chore to get through. And even KNY has a few filler tracks. I just wish the new album had more songs on the same level as their absolute best material. Definitely one of their most listenable front-to-back though.

I think I have a bit of a hot take. This far, though they're still superb songs, Spell Of Mathmatics through This Link is a slight lull. All make up my least favs so far. That could well change by tomorrow though lol.

That's weird seeing as atf, snw and s/t are undoubtedly better than DE and KNY, doesn't quite make sense now

Yeah, DE and KNY rank at the bottom of their discography for me too, so I totally disagree with that ranking

I wouldn't say bottom cause we still have gore and adrenaline there, but def beneath the golden quadrilogy which was a peak run

Adrenaline has a quirky old-school charm but I can totally see why people won't dig it as hard

I mean aside from Gore, I've rated everything they've done a 4.5 or higher haha. Most consistent band out there for me.

I actually dig Adrenaline quite a lot and think it's underrated here (it's certainly better than Gore), but I cant rank it above DE and KNY

I agree that S/T and SNW beat KNY, but DE is better than all of them imo
