I listened to Billy Howerdel's new album today. It's pretty cool. Huge depeche mode influence but it sounds miles better than eat the elephant.

I was listening to mer de noms the other day and thought to myself that it’s a good album but its mainstream sheen is much more noticeable than thirteenth step, which straddles the mainstream and experimental/prog sides with much more grace. You can tell MJK was more involved in the creation of thirteenth step

haha emotive has all the WORST nostalgia for me with the Bush Jr era. I'm glad you liked ETE though, I feel like that one gets hated on universally but it's pretty damn good
