If you can't play Funeralopolis, you should burn your guitar and then yourself.

You just referred to a bass by calling it a base. I really hope that was intentional. If not, why are you here?

"Would Sound Like The Who"
You joking? The reason it's so good and loved is because of how groundbreaking it was and still is. The riffs are excellent, the songs are sometimes catchy, The atmosphere is amazing, The production is perfect (for the music), the lyrics are abstract and full of hate and angst, It's in your face aggressive, The album cover rules, The instruments are played exceptionally well, there is a TON of musicianship, The simple song structures get put to their test, The drums are phenomenally played, Nothing else sounds like it and yes, It's also the heaviest album in existence.

That is the most retarded statement I've read on here for a long time.
Funeralopolis rules because it builds and builds and builds and then dooms your fucking stoned mind out.

Exactly. Baseline just doesn't have the mental capacity to appreciate the genius that is the mighty "Funeralopolis". But, it's still not the best song off the album. That clearly belongs to "I, The Witchfinder".

"Nothing else sounds like it and yes, It's also the heaviest album in existence."
What do you mean by "heavy?"

heavy doesn't always mean abrasive or like hard to listen to for regular jack offs
In this case it means the deep damp heavy as fuck rattle your skull sound ya know

The Density of the music, it weighs you down with just the music. You can physically feel it in your chest, your legs, your brain in just everything. It just feels thick and it pushes you downwards, weakens you and just piles on top of you, all with just the weight of the music.
Here allow Mr. Matt Pike explain...

Do you know why this is so enjoyable on drugs? because drugs turn you into a moron.
I'll call Carl Sagan and remind him of how dumb he is.

I do agree about the drug thing. I've never done any sort of drug ever, and I sill love the album all the same.

It is possible for certain drugs to make people stupid.
However, those are usually the harder drugs that I and most people would never touch.
Truth is that every 'dumb' stoner I've ever met was already stupid as hell before they discovered what weed is.
There are tons of normal and intelligent people who like to chill out and maybe experiment with mild altering substances at a responsible pace.

You're calling it predictable when you loved the album before so you've already heard it dozens of times. That's not being predictable, that's remembering how the song goes.
