Bladecatcher is WTF but otherwise this is a stellar album. I remember this blowing my mind when it came out.

Thé only thing that pisses me off about Bladecatcher is that it goes thru a 2nd rotation. It's great that they wanted to make a kooky one off song, but repeating everything twice ruins the novelty.

2nd fave Mastodon.

It's not really hating on this, I just can't get into any track in here that isn't Pendulous Skin, and that's only the closing track. All the other tracks are boring/awful to me. I dunno, it's just my opinion though.
