My biggest gripes on this are so minor, but I wish the first two tracks back to back did not end with the same long angelic choir outros. Seems like a once an album move, but certainly not one after the other. I also wish they cut the last track and just ended with L'Enfant. I think having the two soft tracks so close in the track order kills the 2nd half of this record, but I'm okay with Reminiscence before Moon Child.

I can kinda see that, my drive to and from work is about 30-35 minutes so when I spin this, Reminiscence and L'Adieu are the ones I skip to make it work time-wise.

I actually like the closer and Reminiscence a lot but there probably is some other slightly better placement for the latter.

I skip those tracks when driving as well lol, and then sometimes replay L'Enfant

As usual lately, I have the opposite opinion of Johnny. L'Envol is the only thing on here that made me perk up. The rest just reminded me why I am not that into this genre.

The opening portion of L Envol is also a highlight of the album for me. The way it does explodes in before giving way to some awesome cleans

I was in the Brisbane Art Gallery a few days ago and the original Sydney Long painting Spirit of the Plains which inspired this album cover is displayed there. Really neat, I didn’t know that until I saw it and looked it up, I just figured it was an original piece for the album.

Any Brisbane locals who want to see it, it’s on the lowest level and it’s displayed on one of the walls that face towards the windows of the walkway connecting the art gallery building to the museum.

I thought the art looked mildly familiar in some way. You just unlocked it in my mind!

Maybe a bit better than SI, for whatever reason both that one and this have all the best songs in the second half.
