this isn't remotely terrible musically but everything is off
guitar tone is slightly wrong, drum tone is slightly wrong, vocals are slightly wrong, mix really sucks
it's like an itch in a hard to reach spot that isn't annoying enough to scratch, and that makes it worse than being outright painful, because you never get the catharsis of excusing yourself and proverbially telling it to fuck off, and instead just endure it
