Unless it’s literally a different band there’s no fucking way this is deserving of the ratings it’s getting

@Gyro: you'll still hate the vocals but the music is very good and also very different/interesting. Not at all what you'd expect.

Over the past couple days, I've been considering all of the "this is a masterpiece" talk to be pretty hyperbolic but I'm understanding it now. I can't stop spinning this album. I initially thought this thing was excellent, but I might need to up the rating. This album just keeps unfolding with every listen. The lyricism and the concept as a whole are really impressive.
I totally get why this isn't everyone's cup of tea. The album does feel all over the place, the production is a bit off at times, and if you've never liked Matt's vocals then they're probably an immediate turn off for you. But man, it's all hitting for me.
The story of existentialism being told here is incredibly well done and kind of terrifying when it starts sinking in.

Yeah Sowing I was just about to comment to say I’m 3 tracks in and I still think the vocals blow ass but I’m enjoying the actual music

I was gonna say, this album got so much better after like the third or fourth track. Cosmic is for sure the highlight so far

Cosmic
Mattel
Beautiful Morning
GOD (I’m not separating them, they’re all one long track imo)
Nobody
We Love You
Game Over
Easier
and idk where to put the title track. It’s a nice little epilogue to the whole thing but I have no idea where I’d rank it in the tracklist

And I’m surprised I like Nobody as much as I do. Matt’s lyrics are some of the best on the record and obv the solo is incredible.
