I'm just glad I was able to see them on their Dawn tour. Don't get me wrong I bet they'd still be stellar because I imagine this material translates better in a live setting, but yeah, this is certainly not my fave from them.

This is the first time I've felt one of their albums wasn't completely essential. I enjoy it for what it is, but there's absolutely no way I'm recommending this to anyone who isn't already a fan, whereas almost everything else they've done is / was an important step in their evolution.

Awesome album! And one that really gets added value form the physical version. The LP, gatefold and the wonderful booklet perfectly support and embody the atmosphere of the album and make the experience even more immersive.

not to turn the knife but it was an amazing experience (even if there was this guy standing right behind me howling something incoherent in the melody of the song trying his best to ruin it for everyone around him)

unpopular opinion mayb but i think i prefer the current setlist over the dawn era one, cold burn is too massive of an opener and they're still playing nightwalkers and silent man (and lights last october) so woo
