I honestly don't know right now man. I went from criminal justice then to Journalism(which is what I am now). I love writing as a hobby but I've reevaluated it as a career and idk if I wanna do that now. So now what? lol
Anyway what you studying?

haha i totally said where, though my next question was going to be what anyways. journalism is pretty legit, at least you can say you have legitimate reason to be spending time on sput! lol
that i'm still in school is a sign that i'm in the UC system (San Diego). i'm studying computer science atm. a little iffy on programming my entire life but i'm gonna see how i like something like AI which is a little more research-y and suited to my strengths

ehh it's alright. i've always been mathematically inclined so programming comes pretty easy to me (after i got the hang of it). i mean idk, there isn't any "math" really per se. in any case it's pretty boring stuff, programming in particular. i'm writing an android app for a software dev class and it's just so goddamn boring. i always saw myself being on the cutting edge or something though so hopefully i'll prob go into something more like AI or HCI (human computer interfacing, stuff like google glass)
and nice nice, new jersey huh. any plans for the summer or is it just chilling? with CS you're supposed to work every summer. i fucking hate it lol. but yeah definitely, that's why i have like 12K comments here. but if you end up being staff (which you prob well) that'd actually be good to put on your resume for journalism, which in itself is pre legit!

I definitely know that programming would not be my thing lol I don't even know what 2+2 is!
Jersey is a pretty awesome state. I plan on hiking a lot with my friends and just chilling out really. And then there's weed of course haha And being Contrib is legit enough man, idk about Staff yet haha
Where you from?

yeahhh honestly most of my CS friends don't like programming either, in general. it's pretty arbitrary (cause like everything is manmade which = arbitrary) and that's frustrating when you're used to things coming together like in physics and math. still tho, it's the future and it's applicable to pre much every field (e.g. if you really like music and you know how to program you can create, well, sputnikmusic lol)
and that's honestly legit. wish i could say the same altho i'll hopefully spend a ton of time at the beach and get even darker than i already him. and haha well most contrib hit staff eventually! you're good.
and i'm from irvine, ca, which is this super suburb in orange county. about a 10-20 minute drive to some of the nicest beaches in the world, which is awesome. lots of places to go hiking as well, and socal summers tend to be pretty temperate which is awesome as well.

yeah if you get a job that pays well enough for you to live in a nice area after the ridiculous taxes and housing prices, it's honestly a great place to live.
probably a little spoiling since everywhere else, summers are too hot and humid.
SF and LA definitely are worth visiting when you have the time and money. lots to do and like i said, the beaches here (in socal particularly) are gorgeous. there's a reason every pop punk song uses california as metonymy for beaches/summer haha

That aspect of pop punk pisses me off lol but sounds like a great place!
Jersey is worth visiting too if you go to the right places. Where I love, you see mostly trees in the distance rather than houses and buildings I love it.

haha yeah it gets a little repetitive, but i do sort of get it. few things say summer better than the beach, and few beaches are more famous/ better than california's (hawaii probs the only place with better beaches in america)
and i've been to jersey, but only to the suburbs full of other indians where my aunt and uncle have settled down (edison? or something)
that sounds pretty awesome though, definitely don't get any of that in socal
