Damn, wouldn't have guessed it was even that recently (seriously I cannot remotely suss the timeline of anything that occurred within the last three-ish years). Glad to hear he's doing better. The series of Instagram stories he released while it was happening was pretty hard to see/read. Definitely enforces a lot of the somberness throughout this album.

I did, I liked Quebec City a lot more. the part of Montreal I was in was a little dirty and reminded me of San Francisco some. I would definitely go back if given the opportunity. loved the weather.

I guess Quebec has similar guitar stuff, but honestly I just don't get the comparison, Quebec and this have entirely different vibes, Ween's stuff is way more tongue in cheek and this is more like a cry for help in an album
Even sonically I just don't see the two as comparable outside surface level observations
