This is really good. I wish Isaac had more vocal parts though, as I feel they were less frequent and mixed lower here. I’m actually not crazy about their two new singles. Maybe it’s because they’re not mixed by Will Pitney, but (while not terrible) they remind me of The Acacia Strain at their most monotonous. Barely any riffs, and yet at the same time very few memorable breakdowns.

Gonna be honest here and admit that I didn't like Bryan's vocals at first either, but they really grew on me to the point that Knocked Loose wouldn't be Knocked Loose without his vocals
He kinda sounds like a kid's cartoon character that's become so unhinged and angry it's outright trying to kill you

also, i don't know how hot a take this is, but i pretty heavily prefer the production on the new singles to Putney's. idk why, it just sounds a lot bolder and more aggressive. like, the chugs sound like explosions.

maybe. The two new singles are fine but I think I like pretty much every song here more than either of them.
I don’t usually care for Putney, but everything here sounds so massive. He killed it on this record.

The production here has always broke my brain. It’s like it’s lacking on the bass when it first kicks on, yet it sounds fucking MASSIVE and explosive (like someone else said) about 10 seconds later. Absolutely love it
