I wish I could stomach JT's vocals, cause I'd listen to this way more often if I could

im pre thrilled w the fact that jt is actually showing signs of improvement but yea i dream of how incredible this record woulda been in a world where garrison was still vocalist

i dont have an issue w him now but on drift/neon (particularly on drift) dude is just sticking entirely to his mids. garrison on the other hand is my fav harsh vocalist ever everything that guy was able to pull off hit w the force of a truck, so jt is given the difficult uphill battle of always having to be compared to a guy that literally no one is better than in my eyes lol. pretty impressed with him on here tho dude is finally showing off some well needed range

JT is just really boring to me. I won't deny that he shows improvement on this record, but I just don't like his general sound. It's more so that he doesn't align with my personal tastes, cause I do think he's talented

I wish I liked this more, none of the songs are very memorable to me. I still love Augment though.

JT is savage I love that dude and will never understand the hate. Monotone maybe but he’s got so much power

@nash thats my situation too. but your problem is what we are talking about. the mono tone ness is so fucking frustrating bc literally most screamers can do simple ups and downs to convey emotion

JT is just like YA YA YA YA YA YA

[3 minutes later, with supposed emotional catharsis and song changes]

YA YA YA YA YA

i'm kinda more forgiving when harsh vocals are monotone when the cleans are as good as they are here

I don’t mind his one-note-ness because he sounds fucking pissed and it works for me haha

oh yeah, he did fucking cleans in that! maybe thats why. his cleans in erra are really bland and soft. i wish he'd belt out like in Sweetest Poison

Jesse's the main singer anyway so I dont mind that JT doesn't do too much.
