Yeah super mathy, almost like myspace-era white belt grind shit. the second record adds more techy/deathcore-lite stuff and it’s the first record with their current singer and he’s way way better on it than any of the later stuff, the third is like a combo of both with a hearty dose of super catchy melody

no i haven't heard johnny truant, i'll see what i think. too busy vibing new armor for sleep. and idk i like the hooks and accessible feel this album brings. feels huge and anthemic. a few songs arent that great tho which keeps it from a 4.
