SWEET TASTE OF DEATH IN MY MOOOOOUTH
Not sure how Rody did it, but I can think of multiple hooks from every single song on here, and they're legit earworms now.

"It blew my mind when I read on the PTH subreddit that the guitar riff at the end is the same as the intro, but in a major key instead of a minor like the intro."
Ooh I like stuff like that too. I remember last hearing something like that in an ABR song

The songs sneak back into my mind just from reading these comments. God dammit guys, make it stop

There are still two more "b side" songs on the way for people that got the ultimate vinyl bundle. I'm hoping it won't take long for them to get ripped and uploaded somewhere.
Rody said that The Dueling Cavalier is actually his favorite song out of all of them but it didn't make the cut for whatever reason.

What's your favorite, Johnny?
|
| |
hmm I guess From the Sky, but this album is a 50/50 split between good tracks that hit the spot and alright tracks i could take or leave tbh - unexpected given how decisive their highlights usually feel

The section from 2:05 to 2:55 in Soliloquy gave me major Fortress vibes and I wish there were more sections like it. So fucking good ugh.

The intro riff of From the Sky is just a fucking banger.
I can't wait to break somebody's nose on it live
or mine idk
also fuck to the guy posting the fireside's refrain now I gotta listen and sing it in my worst post-rehab Rody imitation

Is actually still like that part of fireside and at least appreciate how they try to make this somewhat diverse.
Are the orchestrations new to their style?

For me, this album is head and shoulders above everything they've ever done. Prog progress.

Orchestrations are nothing new to them but it's the most present they've been for sure

Bone Marrow and Palms Read definitely had the epic orchestral feel.
