The Sorrow definitely had their moments for sure. They never got their recognition imo. Their S/T was definitely a moment, even if nobody noticed

Turned a lot of heads with 94 Hours / Frail, but when Shadows are Security dropped they were hot the way that Knocked Loose is hot right now. Had an aura of a huge band on the brink of breakout. Live shows that absolutely crushed. Say what you will about metalcore, but they were the head of a movement for good reason.

yeah they were elite gateway metalcore. did that melo style better than basically everyone at that time.

This. I remember back in the day AILD were among the Top 5 metalcore bands of the moment. Frail showed promise and I quite liked/and still like Shadows and An Ocean.
