lollll basically a group with image/celebrity value as a priority over music. idol is like a subculture that rides off wholesomely pitched cults of personality but sometimes cool edgier projects come out of it (like Dots, who played against the scene by going anonymous and making rouge musical choices). tl;dr it's still good shoegaze but part of its value is novelty/mystery within its scene

Joe u are my idol
|
| |
There are idols dancing on a stage in the shopping mall behind my apartment on a daily basis.
The audience is usually 7 or 8 sweaty fat and bald pedos dancing in unison.
Sad times.

you make me want to be a better idol
|
| |
Damn, I guess at least local idols have a lowkey stage to cut their teeth on in the first place :/ Joe you should get over there, learn a few tricks and make Dewi's mall more wholesome

This album's not exactly a life-changer, but oof madon these 1s feel a bit rude. This deserves more clout on its production alone

the music is pretty great but the vocals are hit & miss for me

"Damn, I guess at least local idols have a lowkey stage to cut their teeth on in the first place"
The underground idol scene is one of the saddest, heartbreaking, puke inducing things I've ever seen Johnny, really the stuff of nightmares.
