Yeah man! It makes more sense when you see the whole thing and realize the reaper in his pillory is shackled to the mirror much like we humans are slaves to modern life's pressure of physical appearance, and using the metaphor of the reaper, this pressure will become the death of us unless we learn to break free from the fetters of societal expectations.

So is the reaper standing on the cliff just the regular reaper? If so, how do their jobs differ? Or maybe he is actually the Mirror Reaper and the giant being is just an anthropomorphic mirror?

Astute observation! The reaper on the cliff is without a doubt the actual Mirror Reaper. He is the shepherd leading the masses to death into the mirror, harvesting the crop of souls so to speak. If you look closely you'll see on the other side of the anthropomorphic mirror are several other sections of homunculus reapers releasing the harvested souls as birds into the afterlife.



Also lol at that 2.9 review rating, what is is this Marrow of the Spirit? Yeesh

Is this everyone's favorite Bell Witch album? The band is incredible. The 2nd track on Four Phantoms is the only song of theirs I sometimes skip.

This and Longing are close to equal for me.

It’s my favorite as well. All their stuff’s great but I do have a soft spot for their Demo 2011 EP...granted most of it became fully fleshed out on Longing, I play it regularly when I don’t have the time to sit through their full length LPs.

Also, I’m considering seeing them and Yob next week...should I go for it?
