Massive Joy Division vibes at the start of I Am Nothing, except Wil's voice of course. It's a dark song lyrically, but what else would you expect.
This is excellent.

Vocals on Chips and Gravy, sound like very early Wil
Both great songs, through all the drama, I now remember why i love this band so much.

I Am Nothing is such a dark song. Wil's vocals on it have so much pain behind them.

Just played I Am Nothing again today for the first time in 2 days, and fuck it's good. Imagine if it is the opener of their new album, and everything stems from this song. If they do that, then the up and coming release will be Album of the 20s.

It's stunning. It gets better with each listen.
Wil has always been good at being genuine through his music, but here it's so heavy it almost hurts me to listen to

Yeah, how sad. Saw him with Ramon a week back and he hinted at some hard times. Glad he's fine, though, mentioned a new album in March and then, if I heard right, November I think.

fantastic news! two albums in one year is something we dont see often enuf anymore. not sayin bands should rush material out but two in one year is seriously wonderful.
also congrats on promotion!

I agree, sometimes I wonder if it is a declining attention span thing, but the more I think about it the dumber that gets: the requisite two-to-three-year wait between albums feels like a very current thing, if you have the material why not release it?
Also, thank you, glad to see you're still around. :3

I like it when bands give me a good long break, makes the next album release feel that much more exciting. Plus i feel like artists that have a high output will probably run out of creative steam quicker.

Yeah, I definitely agree with that last point. I'm not a fan of hype, though, I think (personally) it ends up clouding my experience of the music more often than not -- so I appreciate it when artists seem to release music willy-nilly sometimes. Not with lack of care, but little attention to announcements and pacing and such.

is it just me or does wil look a bit bigger since the band came back? not talkin shit or nothin, just feelin like it might be reflective of the hard time hes had if true
