yeah well i think the band has loooooong ago lost their relevance and rivers is getting desperate. it just doesn't sound natural at all to me

didn't think so
I'll admit this is slowly starting to grow on me, but if I do eventually bump it I doubt it'll ever be more than a 3.5

I can honestly say I like this almost as much as Pinkerton
I don't hear any desperation. It's not anything new, but it still sounds fresh and relevant.

Feels hella natural and tbh Rivers is pumping out some of his best lyrics in 20 years.

oh no, I rated this lower than most people, the world is coming to an end
read Arcade's review, you'll probably get a better understanding and drop your rating in the process ;-)

Am I correct in thinking Brian Bell plays the keys?
Because if that's the case he needs to do it more often, one of my favourite things about this.

I just noticed, Deftones is on the best new music list but this isn't.

I stopped listening to this but only to make room for Deftones/Explosions In The Sky/M83/Frightened Rabbit...jeez what a couple of weeks
I'll be returning to this frequently though, and I'd estimate as often/more often than a lot of the aforementioned releases

New Frightened Rabbit is top notch.

I'm in a whirl over it
It's emotionally devastating to the point I want to 5 it on the spot but musically it's a little boring, which pains me to say
Not sure what my rating will be but one way or another I will appreciate the hell out of the meaning behind the songs

I've never been much of a Weezer fan, but I added California Kids to my April playlist that I put on shuffle while I work because this was a new release. Every single time it comes on, its been catching me off guard, its great. I'm definitely gunna have to give this album a full spin.
