I'm not sure Intronaut's even post-metal anymore. There's not much in the way of slow builds and structural evolution like those other bands...they're more like The Ocean, I think.

I guess they're the opposite of what other bands do. Most of them start off as mainly sludge and then evolve into post metal, lol

yeah, they've flirted with it on songs like Any Port, Fault Lines, and Nostalgic Echo (my personal favorite song of theirs) but overall they're something else. Sludge? Progressive? Not sure it's named yet.
