New albums across genres on sputnik have a few points less on their averages than previous releases. Are most bands releasing less quality material in the past few years? No, it's just people's over-expectation, especially in the wake of an album like Sunbather. That's why I just add a few points and consider that the real consensus for a lot of new releases, because for all intents and purposes, that's the way they really are.
