Been jamming this again recently, excellent stuff. The 92-minute runtime is daunting, but it flies by surprisingly quickly when you're actually listening to it... I guess that just speaks to how well-written a lot of the material is

The shortest cuts are mediocre and the longest ones are pure gold. If Eternity Should Fail, The Red & The Black, The Book of Souls and Empire of the Clouds would make for a killer album on their own.

This album has amazing guitar tone. Some of my favourites even thou I don't rate this album too high otherwise. Prolly last of Bruces really good vocals also.

This rips hard and strikes a good balance between their proggy stuff and their balls out rockers. I actually kinda like the shorter songs too, it kind of breaks up the 1.5 hours of music.
