So after ten years it's safe to say this is my fav Amorphis with Joutsen ever. It's diverse, it's catchy, it's well written and it's full of splendor. Not only almost every song is a banger but some are almost classic already like Sacrifice, Tree of Ages, The Four Wise Ones and especially Winter's Sleep which is ultimately a perfect Amorphis track. Bogren did a phenomenal job, the album sounds impeccable on pretty much any source.

Just found this band called Lunatic Gods. They are like the slavic version of Amorphis but they get quite a bit weirder with it. I really recommend them. Particularly the album Vlnobytie.
