@mort I'm assuming you mean the vinyl edition since it's not messed up on the CD version. That's really funny but also frustrating - I hate that labels sometimes neglect the shit out of stuff like that, figuring it's the version that "no one will buy" so they don't even try to make it decent. The CD feels like it has a lot of effort put into it - the art is the extended version of the version we see digitally, it's actually a panoramic thing and you can fold the CD out and see that and it comes with a poster with that art on it (when you preordered at least) and it's all just really nice.
It's sad that they had to mess up the vinyl lyric sheet like that. I'm curious - how does the record actually sound on vinyl, compared to CD/digital? DGD is one of those bands that I'm really never sure 1) whether the sound of the band would be truly organic enough to benefit from the medium, and 2) whether or not their label could be trusted to not be lazy and screw it up.

Everything else with the record was done quite well, cool art layout and design, only thing they fucked up was those lyrics
Listening to it now and honestly it almost sounds worse than on digital. Tillian seems right at the front and i cant hear the guitars all that well .
Might be my new speakers that i literally havent used until right now so i could just be getting used to it still

Sounds great for me, as soon as I get the levels right. Had to fiddle around with the EQ a bit before I got the perfect mix. Definitely a jump up from Acceptance Speech.
Happiness is still probably their best sounding vinyl though in my opinion.
